UNISON MEMBERS AND THE ELECTION FOR LEADERSHIP OF THE LABOUR PARTY

The Labour Party National Executive has now agreed that Jeremy Corbyn will be allowed, as the incumbent, to appear on the ballot paper for the forthcoming lection for leader. The meeting that made that decision also set out the rules for who is allowed to vote in that election.

Unfortunately, it is not yet 100% clear who will be allowed to vote. For instance, will people who registered as supporters for £3 last year be allowed to vote, or people who affiliate to the Labour Party through their union now?
